Really enjoyed our stay at Port Benidorm, friendly welcome at reception perfect location allocated a high floor as requested we booked half board and the food at breakfast and evening meal was excellent the roof top terrace has beautiful views but the drinks are more expensive than the hotel bar a local gin & tonic & a Jameson was 18 euro rooms cleaned to a very high standard every day.

Good location within easy access to the beach bars etc. Breakfast was fantastic! Staff were friendly. Lifts were ok for us as we were on the 2nd floor and we were also away from the building work going on next door. Bathroom is ok if going with a partner but we went as a Mother, Auntie and Nephew and the glass door on the bathroom was a little awkward, also as the shower doesn’t completely shut the water from it sometimes leaked into the bedroom area. However, in the whole would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful, big area for sun loungers round the pool, gorgeous rooftop bar. Fantastic location. Glass bathroom wall means when turning the light on through the night you wake your partner. Half glass shower door, does not keep the water in, floor was soaked. There was major construction work going on that we were not made aware of beforehand. It was impossible to sit by the pool as there was a lot of noise,crains carrying walls, heavy metal materials and it was scary being in that area. The shower in the bathroom leaked really bad out onto the floor, we informed reception and told them that we had to use the towels and bedding to soak it up. We then said that we needed fresh towels as we were going to the beach, when we returned there was still no towels, we had to shower and air dry and again use our bedding to dry the bathroom floor up. When we finally got ready we went to reception to make them aware that we had not received the towels we were told by the reception that they only had one cleaner on and that they would get the towels to us when they had time. We left around 9pm and they were in the room when we returned around 2am. The noise from the construction work woke us very early in the morning. We could not relax by the pool and the staff were not friendly at all.
