Very clean and well maintained hotel. Large size rooms with nice big beds and a decent size bathroom too. Shower was over the bath and there were two sinks. Lovely big balcony area with a table and chairs and the area is very peaceful. TV and a mini bar in the room and a small coffee machine where you could buy a pack of coffee pods if required. The restaurant is lovely, great buffet breakfast and menu for lunches and evening meals is really nice. There is seating inside and out near to the pool area (pool lovely with sun loungers). You will need either a car or use taxis here due to being in the campo! Taxi to Malaga town from here cost around €60 (September 2024). Staff are all lovely, would stay here again.

It could be so good .....
We have stayed at this hotel many times pre covid and this was our first time back since 2018. Firstly the staff in the main are very friendly, polite and speak english so well I am embarassed how non existent my Spanish is. However, one or two of the dining staff could do with some basic training in basic service etiquette. I must mention Mohammed and Anna along with an older gentleman who were outstanding and caring. The main gripe of all the guests is the abysmal WiFi which outside of the reception area was practically non existent. We paid for a balcony overlooking the pool so I could shelter from the sun but still enjoy the view but neither the balcony or room could connect with the WiFi at all. Therefore paying the extra was a comlete waste of money. I spent the holiday reading in reception. The hallway carpets are the original from our first ever visit and are quite threadbare now and need changing. This hotel COULD be a lovely boutique hotel with great facilities otherwise and lovely staff but as is sadly we will not be returning soon.

Nice, clean, massive rooms
Huge rooms with comfortable beds and nice view of the golf course and hills. Only issue we had was having to pay €10 to use the coffee pods in the room. You get 10 pods but we only wanted two as we stayed one night. Small touches like free water would have been nice too. Pool was good and restaurant food was excellent.

No WiFi available other than one in reception and nothing in the rooms as advertised. Bathroom taps and metal parts rusty and old. Quite and peaceful and next door to the best golf course in Andelucia.

Misleading property in poor condition. The hotel is not a golf resort in grounds as it implies. It is a stand alone hotel the other side of a main road with a golf course sufficiently far away that you'd need to take your car. The rooms are tired and dated, we were in three until we found one which matched what we had booked and had a working WC that didn't run continually and a safe that locked, although even the final room had mould all around the sealant on the bath. One morning there was no water at all, the next two it cycled cold-hot when showering. There was NO WIFI in the rooms, seems to have been unavailable for months according to reception. Buffet breakfast was particularly poor - cold food (with a microwave next to it, as they knew there was an issue), part broken toaster, very limited fruit selection, most days just cornflakes - although twice we saw raw oats with the odd sultana masquerading as muesli. Tiny, unheated swimming pool. Hotel hosts low budget wedding receptions that whilst we were there became rowdy, and that reception have no interest in quieting down. Omnipresent security guard with threatening demeanour and long assault baton summed up the rest of the atmosphere.

Great hotel with Great staff .
Lovely location, approx 45/50mins inland. Nice and quiet, fantastic staff , specially the Lady from Chili at reception 😊 breakfast was lovely .. the building is slightly older style but suits the area, which is great for exploring the mountains on bike or hiking.. local town 10mins away has everything you could also need. Would ataf again ..

Nice hotel but needs a bit of TLC in parts
A nice hotel but showing its age in places. Only coffee pod machine in the room and €10 for a small pack of pods. Breakfast was good and featured everything you might want. Location is good as well

Bit Expensive for what you get
Pros: staff friendly, good sized room, comfy beds, nice pool Cons; rubbish shower, tiny bath towel, breakfast buffet had decent selection, but not replenished and hot food was cold by 9ish. Rooms are very hit and miss, we were lucky, others not so much. Also you get a pool towel but have to pay a deposit for it, rather than just getting a towel when you go down.
