Good couple of nights spent at hotel
Richard, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very good service from the staff. Parking is limited so I recommend parking in the train station car park which has a reasonable fixed rate for 24 hours.

Lovely clean hotel, our room was amazing, great price with breakfast too. Only issue was that it was kinda hard to find the hotel as it's tucked in the corner of the street, that and the cheap toilet roll. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Over night stay
Over night stay for connecting train. Great location, only 2 mins from train station. Shame I missed breakfast because of an early start.
Michael, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very clean, comfortable hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was very nice with a very comfortable bed. The only downside was that at breakfast on both days of my stay, I was given a mug with a large chip in the rim. I overheard other guests mentioning this as well.
Valerie, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Room nice, breakfast good, but terrible night sleep as room was freezing due to no heating in the room
Paul, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

A little run down but very nice room with a great tub and centrally located near the station. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only problem was that the extra bed was terrible.

Average stay
It was average Staff were helpful but lacked friendliness. There was no evening meals unless you wanted room service and was limited to Indian food. Breakfast was average. Basic English breakfast. Ok for 1 or 2 nights stay

An OK hotel...
It is an OK hotel. It has seen better days, as I thought it looked a bit tired. The staff was very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, air conditioning did not work in my room.

Excellent hotel - excellent value
Lovely, spacious room (the one in the picture). The only issues were that the desk lamp didn't work and there was no shampoo in the shower - but only minor things really and easily fixed I hope after I post this! Otherwise excellent
Sion, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Good points: Nice decor Spacious rooms Clean rooms Comfy beds Friendly counter staff Bad points: Awful town - Neath is a DUMP! No car park - have to use town parking Limited breakfast - was nice full English but limited outside that Noisy windows - let any sound through

Clean and comfortable. Portable heater got dangerously hot plug and flex. Long wait for breakfast and coffee machine out of order on both mornings. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Don’t judge a book by its cover
Arrived early at what appeared to be a rundown hotel from the outside, the staff went out their way to get the room ready, bar and restaurants was amazing, the room had few minor issues that could be fixed with some TLC bed was comfortable. Continental and full English included in a price that was fantastic value 2 star price 4,star facility’s
Jason, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Beautiful hotel once inside, but the outside area was disappointing. The area looks like its in the middle of a rejuvenation so hopefully that will add to the hotels appearance.the rooms were comfortable we had a suite, which was comfortable and clean. During the night we were woken up by cars revving their engines up the street.
Michael, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Quite a nice set up. No dinning facilities other than breakfast. Issues with home bathroom facilities, but sorted after 2 requests.
Steven, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

Refused to stay and walked away . personal safety
One look inside and turned around and walked out
Graham, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

This is a lovely hotel and the staff were all amazing from check in to check out. The restaurant is a curry house basically but the quality is excellent. I stayed on a Saturday night and was facing onto the Main Street. The locals kept me entertained with their night out but as I had an early start it was not ideal. The room was clean, facilities were good and everything worked. A good choice.
James, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

It was very noisy and there were young people outside shouting, playing loud music from their cars and fights were breaking out from the bars and pubs around us of which we didn’t know were around us.x The receptionist was quite abrupt and rude when we checked in and the next day when we went to breakfast she was there to check us in for breakfast and had the same attitude. Parking was ridiculous! It was a tiny triangle of concrete next to the hot that could fit about 3 cars. The best thing about our stay was the breakfast.
Katie, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The rooms are beautiful clean modern well decorated and fresh. The breakfast is a complete letdown from the coffee machine to the cereal choices to the toaster. The cooked breakfast was cooked well but the choice of sausage was dreadful, clearly the value range. If I’d stayed more than one night I’d have gone out for breakfast and coffee. Oh and the tv didn’t work correctly. I’d stay again for the room and the value but go out for brekkie.
