Very nice property, outstanding breakfast buffets and location on Lapad. The amenities, especially the pool deck, access to the ocean and the very large spa were all outstanding. The only minor complaint was the dated hallways and musty odors in the hallway carpet areas.

Lovely hotel
The hotel itself was fabulous, the staff are all amazing and so happy to help with anything, the main hotel areas are lovely and the breakfast was fabulous, they even left us a bottle of wine and cake as we were celebrating our honeymoon. We had a superior sea view room which had amazing views but needed a little tlc. There were several broken tiles on the bathroom floor, the wallpaper was peeling off in places and it just generally looked a little tired. It did not take away from our enjoyment of our holiday or the hotel but given it is a 4 star hotel it could just do with a little updating in places

A Stunning Hotel
We stayed for three nights at Rixos, and it was an incredible experience. The room was clean, cozy, and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was exceptional, offering something for every palate. One evening, we enjoyed the buffet dinner, which featured delicious Indian cuisine. The location was fantastic, just a 20-minute walk to the old town or a quick Uber ride for €8. We loved the hotel and would happily stay here again if we return to Dubrovnik.

Nice hotel, in a good location for walking into the old town (20 mins), or heading west to walk the trail around Lapad. The breakfast buffet is extensive, plenty of options to suit many tastes (cooked, breads, cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, juices, pancakes/waffles, and more). I had dinner in the main restaurant once, which is a buffet again. Also plenty of options, and each night is themed around a food style (Dalmatian, Italian, etc.) Drinks are served at your table for both breakfast (tea/coffee) and dinner, which can be a little slow to come to you, even when not full. Once ordered though, service is fast. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice, however there was some noise externally , either doors loudly closing (which seems to be the way the doors are designed), or people moving furniture on the floor above.

Multiple service issues, including a blocked shower drain that took three days to fix, torn blackout blinds, and inattentive housekeeping, detracted from our stay. Pre-arranged and checkin requests for towels and fresh linen, housekeeping was inconsistent, and dirty boot prints were left in our room after maintenance. On several occasions, service was slow or indifferent— order forgotten, and staff made little effort to remedy problems when raised. Even more concerning, the hotel manager ignored a detailed email outlining these issues, which speaks to the lack of care and responsiveness from management.

We absolutely loved this hotel. We had a premium sea front balcony room. Views were breathtaking from wherever you were at. Food, drinks and service excellent. They even carried hookah at the bar/restaurant by the pool. Bathroom toiletries were BVLGARI which we loved. The bed was extremely comfy. Super strong A/C! I don’t have not one bad thing to say. We absolutely loved it here so much we wanted to extend our stay unfortunately they were sold out of our category of our room. We didn’t want to downgrade. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice hotel located only a 20 minute walk into the old town. Comfortable room with great views (if you decide on a sea view) and an excellent choice for breakfast. Friendly check in with a welcome drink and a personal guide to the hotel. On the downside the room was not ready until 3.40. The service during breakfast was not good, despite what appears to be plenty of staff getting some attention was not easy. Also requested a sunbed for the large balcony but this was ignored and never appeared and also had to request towels for the room. Considering it's 5 star rating these were issues I would not have expected.
