2/10 Poor

No air-conditioning and hot weather made the heat in the apartment unbearable. It fluctuated between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius according to the thermostat (even with two fans running), but it felt hotter. The room was dusty and could have been cleaner. The spiral staircase to the loft was extremely steep and flimsy. One of the steps was broken and a heavier person could easily fall through. I pointed this out but it was never fixed during our stay. The room only has one key and cannot be unlocked without a key from the inside. One time I left the room and locked the door behind me, not realizing that my family left in the room would not be able to unlock the door in case of a fire. How did this hotel pass a safety inspection? On the positive side, the exercise room DOES have air-conditioning and pool is nice, and the people were friendly.

The apart-hotel rooms a large and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. They then down the beds, change the towels, give you a new sponge, cloth, dishwasher tablet and bottle of washing liquid every day, but they don't sweep the floor, and they don't give you a broom, so we spend a lot of time keeping in the floor sweeping up. The hotel is convenient for Arnhem and Nijmegen. There's an amazing rough and ready adventure playground in Groesbeek (Aventurenbos Stekkenberg) for children.

Great stay
In Julky 2017 i stayed at this hotel for the second time. Very roomy apartments, with a kitchenette and a sitting area. We even had two balconies to sit. Price was very affordable. The hotel is not staffed around the clock, the lobby closes at 10 PM and the back entrance is not well lit so it can be a bit scary. Also, late night entrance means taking one floght of stairs which can be cumbersome if you shopped a lot. But the staff was friendly, the kitchenette is fully equied and allows you to have a nice self-cooked breakfast in your room. You can also have breakfast downstairs if you don't feel like cooking. Impressive gym with inside pool make this hotel one of the best places to stay if you are in or around Nijmegen/Groesbeek area. Top.

2/10 Poor

No access after 10pm and dangerous
This was a 2 star at best, the only reason it has more stars is it has a pool and bar. No food at hotel Room was rubbish with a dividing wooden pull across wall, that you were basically in the same room as the next door. When I came home at 10pm the doors were locked and I was walking about for 20 mins trying to get in. Completely shut no security, bar or reception open. I had to walk around the back very dark to a dangerous Fire escape with holes in a metal floor to get in. Older people would struggle very badly getting over the trip hazards. Worst hotel ever. Stay somewhere else, others are local. Keith

Groesbeek
The hotel was above our expectations, the pool and other facilities were very good. The room we had contained a fridge, oven and hob, microwave, kettle and dishwasher. The beds were very comforfable and the shower was great. It was just under 10-minutes to walk to the town centre where there were a few shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Car parking was plentiful and it was very peaceful. The reception staff were very helpful.

Nice hotel to stay in.
A little different kind of hotel, very health oriented. A very nice room along with a separate bedroom (little cramped) and a nice bath room. Very comfortable for our stay.

Seven Hills
Kind of a different hotel. Very much health oriented. A very well equipped fitness center just off the lobby. Breakfast was available if you ordered before hand. Thought it was a little pricey at 10 Euros per person. The room was nice had a kitchenette complete with dishwasher. The bedroom was a little cramped with a wardrobe in the corner. Bathroom was good.

Disappointing
Great if you want a fitness centre but not really a hotel. No food in the evening, cannot charge drinks to your room, things they advertise are not available.

Excellent facilities
The staff were really helpful. The facilities for fitness were excellent and really relaxing. The studio apartment was almost too big for my one night stay but very well equipped. The initial downside of no on site restaurant was compensated by the ten minute walk into the town where there was a great choice. Breakfast was good too. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again.

Business, wellness & fitness
Nice place for some fitness and wellness after a lot of meetings. Staff is very helpful, and the resort feels new and fairly modern. The village is not the most exciting, though it seems to be a lot of museums/memorials around.

A Bridge too far country
The hotel was excellent in all respects. Whilst the locals seemed to be bewildered by English coming to visit such a flat place, there was quite a bit of interest in the Dutch version of Beamish nearby.

6/10 Good

Family friendly, though not top notch
Our stay was during what is called a heat wave in the Netherlands, 90 (F). The hotel has no AC at all, and the windows didn't open either... only a patio door, which didn't allow for any air flow. Our room has a split level, the second level was even more unbearable. We all slept in 5 minute intervals, and the kids slept on the floor to be cooler. I understand the hotel doesn't control the weather, but be aware that there are no provisions to deal with hot weather. On a safety note, I do have quite some concerns. I did not see any sprinklers inside our room, to evacuate the room we stayed in without sprinklers, would be tricky at best. Especially the loft area of our room would be a serious safety concern. With only a narrow, unstable spiraling staircase, the loft is a serious safety concern for smaller kids. My kids are pre-teens, yet I still had to assist them to go up and down to avoid serious falls. A stay with a toddler would not be safe in the room we stayed in. The reception desk closes at night, you cannot reach anyone. Forget about things like wake-up calls, or the maintenance department. The fitness area and indoor swimming pool also closed at 9 pm, with all hotel staff apparently going home for the night. On positive notes, the breakfast that is included is quite nice, typical Dutch style with luncheon meats, sliced cheese, nice rolls, etc. Also, the town of Groesbeek is quite nice and quite; a typical rural small town, located close to beautiful nature areas.
