Overall a good experience, had to take 1 star away because when we went to check in at 3pm the 'room wasnt ready' - it was ready about 25mins after that but still if you have a 3pm check in which is somewhat late you should be ready at 3pm Otherwise staff where friendly, place was fairly clean and facilities are fantastic esp if you have children. The car park can be a 'bit' of a squeeze but overall id stay here again.

Dirty room and terrible service
A terrible experience at this property! Very dirty room and the toilet was awful! Left over food from the previous ppl were next to the TV. We have done the check in twice just the staff were not communicating to each other properly. Don’t waste your money and ruin your holiday with this “hotel”

Restaurant was open for dinner from 5pm, however a private function was taking placed so we had an hour to wait for the function to finish. Ordered our meals about 6pm only for it to arrive at our table in takeaway boxes because they wanted to save on the washing up because of the private function. The restaurant manager agreed to recook our meals and put them on plates, however she practically through the meals at us. Considering she has a customer facing role her customer service skills were diabolical. We felt the private function guests were more important than regular hotel guests, 2 other couples came over to us and agreed that we were all being treated terribly. On checkout i spoke to the reception and because the meals had been redone he didn't see a problem. When I get back to the UK I will be relaying these comments to the Wyndham Hotel Group Head Office

Staff were friendly and were a great help when wanting to upgrade to a room which was quieter. Walls are pretty thin and we could hear the family next door very easily. The new room was very dated, the lounge was heavily stained, lots of marks on walls, lights not working, TV old with limited viewing, but it was quieter which allowed for sleeping.

I did find it upsetting when I rang reception for some sugar to be sent up for our morning coffee in bed was told I would have to come down and get it myself- that defeats coffee in bed. I was told it would be topped up in the room later in the day which it wasn’t so I did end up in reception getting my own. Not a 3rd world problem but when you pay $$$$$ for the stay !

Great location and good facilities. Could be a little closer to the main shops but overall a nice looking venue. Was disappointed with the beds, the mattresses were probably the most uncomfortable I’ve slept on in the last 20 years. Definitely need an upgrade on those. If you can’t sleep, the rest isn’t that relevant. Also need Netflix or chrome cast on tvs, again not something you come across these days …only free to air tv.
