Wonderful place and friendly staff. Helped me get in contact with my rafting company and held my bags for me while I went.

DID NOT HONOR MY RESERVATION. UNPROFESSIONAL. Booked a Queen room WELL IN ADVANCE. Arrived to find they had given my room away. Put me in the last room they had - a closet with a window onto a wall. Leaky toilet and a sink water faucet that badly needs a plumber. Sheets did not fit the bed so I found myself sleeping on the mattress at 2am. Wifi and a hot shower are the only good things I can say. Couldn't wait to leave.

Cozy, Convenient and Carlos!
Carlos at the front desk was wonderful to work with as I booked this room. I had many questions before arriving, and he and the hotel staff were very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi reliable. And the breakfast was amazing. A Very Costa-Rican experience. The rooftop seating was a bonus. Close to the park and buses.

Bright green charmer in Turriabla
We had a very difficult time finding this B&B, but it is well worth finding. It is very convenient to the town square and several restaurants. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is cooked to order. We found a parking place out front in the congested neighborhood. The room is very spacious. Could use better lighting. We were actually offered a choice of two spacious rooms and we took the one with more windows. Good value for the price.

Try the scrambled eggs
Had a slight leak in the first room but moved us straight away. Rooms are generally clean and there's a large outdoor seating area. The best is tradition and filling especially the scrambled eggs made to order.

bed and breakfasts
We were at the B & B for. 2 nights and it is what it says it is. The breakfast was ok, staff were nice. Decor was old but comfortable. Lay out is weird. For 2 people we were in a kind of mini apartment with separate old bathroom, one bedroom with 2 beds and another bedroom ( for who knows what reason for 2 people). Each room locked separately. probably good for a family. The rooms opened right out into the courtyard-kitchen so we had to keep the curtains closed all the time and it was very noisy in the AM, which is ok for CR. It is not great but certainly OK if you don't want a high end place.

Quiet oasis near center of Turrialba.
Great location in center of Turrialba on a quiet side street. Requested a queen room and got that plus 3 extra beds. Room and bathroom were clean and beds comfortable. A/C and fan worked. Our room was next to an open courtyard in the middle of the complex. Interesting layout with covered outdoor section within the walled compound - with a pool table - outdoor furniture to lounge in, reading library - big dining room next to the kitchen and a big TV room (saw Superbowl 51 there). Breakfast was quite satisfying with cooked to order eggs, rice/beans, toast, fruit, orange juice, coffee. Staff was friendly and accomidating.

Bed and Breakfast a Great Choice
We stayed for one night during our travels toward Puerto Viejo as we wanted to explore the volcanoes nearby. It was a little difficult to find but calling the hotel resolved that quickly because the owner came out into the street to guide us. The staff was friendly and informative and the food for breakfast was great. The only detraction was the whirlpool tub advertised was not in service. But otherwise, we felt safe and had a relaxing enjoyable stay. One word of warning: Don't park on the street as you will get a parking ticket. The hotel provides a secure parking area a short distance from the front desk.

Good place
We stayed here prior to rafting the Pacuare. Nice place and friendly staff. Only one of them is fluent in english, so it did feel a little awkward having breakfast around the rest of the staff and a few of them seem to live in. We both almost felt like we were imposing by our stay. The staff did not say or do anything to make us believe this, they were actually very accomodating and helpful, it was just our own personal take.

Centrally located in Turrialba. Amazing staff - especially Christian. Very helpful. Main rooms are somewhat in disrepair and there are clubs around that can be heard until late at night. It doesn't get silent until after midnight.

dirty
I wouldn't recommend this bed and breakfest for several reasons. When we arrived we walked into our room and their was only one towel, the sink was dirty with hair and the bed was not comfortable. We were unable to locate the owner to get another towel either. Many people come to Turriabla to white water raft, which is what we were planning on doing and all the trips leave at 0800 in the morning. You would think the owner would take this into consideration when offering breakfest, but when we told him we would be leaving at 0800 he said oh well. . breakfest is served at 0800. He wasn't willing to provide a meal slightly earlier for us. The price was far higher than several much nicer places in Costa Rica. My recommendation is to pick another hotel.

A delightful B&B and wonderful host
Tlhe proprietor of this B&B was very helpful and attentive to our needs, and the staff responsible for breakfast and cleaning was friendly, efficient, and a great cook. We were particularly impressed with the common areas, which were good for meeting other guests. Our only negative experience was with the shower, which dribbles warm water only after some careful jiggling.

Good Hotel, But Hard to Find
Nice hotel, clean, hot water, Air Cond., lots of beautiful wood furnishings and decor is very nice. Service is good, food (breakfast) is good. Just hard to find ! The simple directions: "50 meters North of the Central Park" I thought would be a snap. The local taxi driver couldn't seem to find it, going around and around the central park until we stopped at another restaurant/hotel and they gave the directions. Its hidden in an alleyway or side-street.
I would definitely stay there again, now that we found it .

GREAT PLACE
This was a great place to stay, a little hard to find, but we called and they came and got us and lead us to the hotel. The people who worked there were very friendly and helpful with information about Costa Rica. There was a a computer hooked up to internet that they allowed you to use, which was very helpful and a great breakfast. If we go back to Costa Rica we would stay there again.

Muy bonito y grande pero necesita mucha reforma. Lo mejor los colchones son camas grandes y nada blandas. Y las toallas de la duchas grandes nuevas y esponjosas
