The hotel is very well situated in the city, meaning you can get to the docks, and railway station and other areas in under 15 minutes walking. The lady that was on breakfast service was lovely and even though we had a language barrier, she was very helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Hotel is not easy to find as the name on the building is different from “Hotel Riva.” There is no parking or drop off area in front of the building so be prepared. Rooms were clean and updated and the staff were extremely friendly. Not very soundproof and the hair dryer didn’t work in our room. The area was surrounding the hotel was vibrant so expect noise.

I would totally recommend this newly updated hotel in the heart of it all. The luxurious modern design of the room made my stay very comfortable, and the juxtaposition of the beautiful antique elevator took it to the next level (pun unintended). Being able to walk out the front door and find yourself in the middle of the most posh shopping district ever was a real treat. When I first booked, I didn’t realize how close the hotel was to all the tourist attractions I wanted to visit! Literally every direction has something cool within a twenty minute walk. I highly recommend walking across the street, around the department store, up the stairs (over the wall), past the impossibly chic restaurant (toward Casa de Columbo)… because Porta Soprana was my favourite tourist site ever!

A very comfortable stay
The hotel is really a bed and breakfast, but a very nice one. The staff are courteous and helpful and the room was very comfortable. The location is a good one, near to the Piazza De Ferrari. The building is a beautiful old one surrounded by more beautiful buildings and the lift must date back to the 1920s or 30s. The breakfast is not the greatest but there is plenty to eat. All in all I would recommend it.

Très bon hôtel bien situé
Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel propre où le service est de mise. Un bon petit déjeuner, le personnel est serviable et très accueillant. C'est hôtel de centre ville il n'y a pas de lobby et il faut aller au 1er étage pour la réception et et les chambres sont au 5ème. Les lits sont très confortables. Merci au personnel. L'hôtel est bien située sur la Via XX settembre.

Eine sehr zentrumsnah gelegene Unterkunft. Anreise mit PKW allerdings etwas schwierig. Genua ist von dort aus sehr gut fußläufig zu erschließen.
