Lovely historic building.
The reception was very good, with one of their people even carrying my suitcase up to the 3rd floor. There's no lift but that's understandable in such an old building. The room was spacious and there were lovely thick blankets in the wardrobe as well as the usual duvet. The location is perfect if you want to stay on the square without stepping out the door straight into happy chaos.

It is really what you pay for. It is a boutique style hotel with minimal comforts, but has what you need.. But, it is fairly priced and in a great of Poland.

Excellent stay, perfect location
Excellent stay. Perfect location, quiet and convenient. Stairs to climb, but not too bad. Make allowances for old building re heat and number of outlets. Shower nozzle drooped. No important issues.

No elevator a minus. Steep stairs going up to the second floor and little help. Cozy room but dated. Small shower.

If you want to be next to the Palace in Old Town, then ok. No air, noisy and the inn was dated. The girls at the desk were very nice. Price was right.

Disappointing that Polish staff could not answer questions about Polish city in which she lives. ie- "Where is the nearest post office?"

Loved the feeling of history, the fantastic view from the window, and the charm of the old building.
Difficult for us to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs.

The location and view from my corner room of the royal palace and courtyard were great. The smell of the building was bad. There was black mold growing on the inside of the water carafe the hotel provided. I complained to the front desk of a large spider in the room and asked if they could remove it, and they said spiders are common at the property and there’s nothing they can do.

Really unique, historic property literally 15 steps (really!) from the Warsaw Castle in Old Town. Location is amazing for experiencing the beauty of historic Warsaw and its cobbled and charming streets. Our room was huge, with high ceilings and its own fun ambience. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside is that there's no elevator, so most guests will have to navigate a couple of flights of stairs. Despite this, I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful quiet property in the heart of old town Warsaw. Walking required as this is a pedestrian only area. Great location to explore this part of the city. Room was spacious as was the bathroom.

Great location in the heart of the Warsaw old town, but the entrance was difficult to find. The adress shows Piwna street but the entrance is around the corner from the Castle Square. Some of the rooms have a fantastic view on the Royal Castle and Castle square but one has to be prepared to climb with your luggage onto the first floor where the reception is located. It may be a challenge to some. The room was okay with a nice bathroom and new shower but AC was difficult to operate and during the night there were some strange noises. It did not bother me that much but my wife was more sensitive an did not sleep well. So if it is not a bother for you it is a nice, original place to stay with great restaurants and open air dining everywhere.
