Really disappointing to attempt to use the baths only to be met with a barrage of “no tattoos allowed” signage. None of the check-in staff mentioned anything about it, even after telling me the times the baths were open and instructing how to get to the baths and all of my tattoos are very much visible. It’s 2024, why on earth do you still have this archaic rule? Absolutely ridiculous.

Very well kept and furnished hotel with beautiful interiors. Breakfast is good if you enjoy Kaisen-don (rice with raw seafood) and freshly fried tempura.
Onsen is relaxing for a soak and popular amongst the guests. Nice to have late night soba as treat.

In a quiet area and about 6 min walk to station. Dining options limited but we ate before heading back to hotel. Loved the onsen, massage chair and breakfast. We would come back the next time.
