Just ok
Property and room are good but could have been a lot better.
This is our first trip to Australia from US , we booked room with kids aged 1 and 4 years old, which we communicated earlier and when we went to check-in they charged us extra for crib/baby cot and high chair.
They offer “ express “ house keeping , they take out trash, make bed and restock coffee and towels but they don’t clean the room or restock toiletries . With kids I had to clean up sand and food etc that was on the floor every night.
My daughter has been collecting room keys to remember the cities we travelled and places we stayed. All of the hotels we stayed (4 and 5 stars) in US and AUS have been more than happy to let us keep the room keys but Q1 reception staff mentioned that we would be charged to keep the room key card. And the staff didn’t bother to be kind about that.
It’s not about the small extra charges for me but it’s the service I thought was lacking especially for the premium price we paid for the stay. I wouldn’t stay here or any of their locations again.
