Check-in was possible through a check in machine a little bit removed from the road in the back of the Hotel property, since the reception was not staffed. The process was very straight forward, however the machine was dreadfully slow. Tip: If it seems like it crashed, it didn't, just wait 30 seconds.
Room was overall clean, the only annoying thing was the sheets, which had a rancid smell in some corners. This smells wasn't too strong though, so after some getting used to it, sleeping was possible.
Outlets remained powered even when the keycard was removed from the slot next to the door (which enables lights to be turned on).
There is a very popular breakfast place around 2 minutes by foot, called "Café Bohne", which is very recommendable. But do reserve a seat before you go, it#s very full around 11.
