Stay away from Ca Sagredo Venice
The hotel is truly an old dump. The building is a gorgeous, dilapidated relic. But the hotel is dirty and beyond repair. I have photos of the carpets walls fixtures and more and video of our bathroom walls with black mold growing on them. We complained but no one responded and there were no other rooms available in Venice at the time. It was a nightmare. We reached out to management for help and of course radio silence. We are sending our pictures and videos to the media so they can make travelers aware.

Great location and value for money. The room was large with a little terrace. The aircon was not strong but ok and there’s no tea coffee facility or kettle in the room for hot water. Otherwise great service, calm and quiet with a beautiful old and authentic feel.

Absolutely incredible hotel, decor amazing, room was the size of an apartment full of grandeur and ambience. Perfect location on the grand canal, staff are so super friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Easy to get to key tourist location. Loved everything about this classy hotel which was full of local character!

Our room booked via Expedia was on the top floor, carpets were heavily stained, the wifi, in spite of the staff’s best efforts to get it working, with extenders, did not want to work in our room, I had to go to the second floor to connect and catch up on work. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, it is quite dated, at some point, perhaps 50 years ago, it may have been.. the staff was very helpful and very nice…

Wonderful and unique, the property feels like it belongs in the renaissance era. Charming with plenty of opportunities for stunning pictures. Skip the breakfast as it is mediocre at best and considering the fact you are in food heaven there are many better options available nearby. Be advised that the hotel will not provide an iron or kettle as the fire danger is a concern.

The hotel is nice but just super tired. It's not a 5 star hotel; which is why I think it gets booked often, because it is the most economical of the 5 star choices. They try but it's misleading to think you booked a 5 star hotel when the experience is just not that. With that said, it's not the staffs fault they are misrepresented and they are the peasant and helpful. This is a good four star hotel in a great area of the City

Good overall but not great
It was a good stay overall with a couple of caveats 1- there is no fitness center, I counted on it but I had to to through the venetian maze of alleys to get the blood pumping. It was rainy foggy and slippery 2- breakfast was included but we did not think it was up to what we were expecting considering the category of the hotel Great location, great service
