Straight up the weirdest thing about this hotel is that there is no elevator. This was a huge pain because since I was on the second floor, I had to make multiple trips to bring in my things. I was traveling by myself, so I didn't have any help. I'm in fine shape physically to carry my suitcase upstairs and make multiple trips, but found it odd that the desk clerk didn't even offer to help.
The hotel is an older hotel, but everything felt clean and had obviously been renovated within the last few years. I had a room with a king bed. It was a pretty spacious room and the bed was very comfortable. I liked the walk-in shower (as opposed to a tub). I checked in about 4:00, so I had the whole evening ahead of me. Besides going to dinner, I was in my room the rest of the evening. It was cozy and I enjoyed watching "Back to the Future."
Breakfast was just kind of meh. I only ate some yogurt and cereal because everything else didn't look super appetizing.
Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable. This isn't a place that is going to knock your socks off, but it's a very comfortable place to stay and in a quiet area. If you can't take stairs, make sure you specify a first-floor room since there is no elevator.
