6/10 Good

A very aged hotel. On the plus side the views can be magnificent but overshadowed by age and limited in house options. Town is not far but don’t always want to drive/walk to get something to eat - at hotel restaurant, room service and bar all close at 9pm and for breakfast the only option is an expensive buffet… also pool/spa area was closed during stay and had been no communication of such when booking… definitely better options in Queenstown .

We enjoyed our stay in Hertige. Room was spacious. We had a mountain view and could see snow. Staff were excellent and Friendly. The Heated Spa/hot tub and Sauna were excellent. It was an easy walk into town however a bit harder on the way back as there is a steep hill for the last bit. There is bus stop directly out side the Hotel. Enjoyed having a drink by the fires.

Lovely 2 night stay, had the 2 bedroom suite (connected rooms). Staff were absolutely lovely. Our kids made use of the pool and spa during our stay. Nice and close to city centre and parking was really good and very close to our room. Would definitely stay again.

Horrible, cold room. Don’t stay here unless you want to freeze. Nothing good about this old hotel. I paid for 8 nights before seeing room. Left about third day and they kept my money. Worst hotel, experience ever.
