This is the second time we stayed here this year. That's how much we like this hotel. Conveniently located to metro exit z10, Taipei Main Station. There are lots of coffee places, restaurants, shopping around the hotel. Many 7-11s including the popular Mofusand themed store right around the corner. 10 minute walk to the popular Ximending area.
Front desk service is friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable.
Highly recommend!

The room is clean and big. Overall stay was good except that the room is not fully sound proof. You can hear noise from the street and corridor.

Damp and small
The hotel smelled musty and damp. Outside noise was disturbing. The room was modernized free washing for cloths close to Tapei Main Train Station.

Great location and room conditions
Overall this is a great hotel in Taipei. Near Taipei Station, many food and restaurants surrounded. The customers service is 👍 Thank you Sherry helped us to make reservation with the restaurant, she’s friendly and very helpful.
This hotel describes itself as a Japanese brand - falsely alluding to that as its overall standard, which it is not. Most staff were friendly and efficient. Free coffee was better than the coffee we had at another Japanese 5-star we stayed at prior. Public areas look dated though branded/renovated as a new hotel.
The bathroom smelled like a sewer with bugs flying around. Shower doors couldn't hold water. Room service was unpleasant when asked for more towels to dry the floor OURSELVES as if we did something wrong. The laundry room was clean with thoughtful facilities. Washing machines have Chinese directions only but the dryers are bilingual.
Room rate was close to 4-star level but felt like a 2-star.
