Poor quality for price, but clean
Firstly our TV in our room had no cable and the maintenance guy couldn't fix it. My friend and I realized afterwards that it was because instead of paying for cable service, this hotel now just uses internet and their Roku account. So the TV did not have it set up and their front desk clerk and maintenance guy couldn't figure it out. They did offer us another room but we were already setup. Also not sure why all their rooms have their wallpaper peeling off the walls, it's so tacky for a room that is $200 a night.

Fine, but overpriced for the quality and issues
Overall look and feel of the hotel was fine. But the rooms had a lot of issues: chair couldn’t be sat on because it was broken, shower curtain couldn’t close properly, shower’s hot/cold indicators were backwards. And our cards kept getting demagnetized. For the price we paid (570$ CAD for 4 adults, 2 nights), I would never go back there.

The lobby was full of loud kids running around every time we walked through. The guy at the desk upon check in was not at all friendly. The fan in the bathroom didn't work, the towels are very rough (even for hotel towels) and the blanket was not clean. The ladies at check out were friendly even though there were fire alarms going off an kids running around.

Welcoming staff….sketchy hotel
The staff were pleasant and welcoming. That’s where it ends. This place was seriously sketchy. Not sure if they were using this place to house the homeless in Ottawa or what. Crackheads hanging out at the back of the hotel in the parking lot. What looked like human trafficking going on. Security guard in the lobby at night. Hole in the wall in the room and what looked like blood on the window curtains…was it? I don’t know nor do I care to find out. Barricade your door if you’re staying here.
