Remote Setting Is Both A Positive and a Negative.
The remote location is both a positive and a negative. Nestled in the Frecyinet National Park, the Lodge is beautifully set overlooking the water, and there is a sandy beach just a short walk away. You can also access the boat excursion to Wineglass Bay right from their dock, and can also walk to the primary park trailhead.
If you stay here you'll need to most of your dining at the lodge so choices are limited. The kitchen was slow all days were were there and our orders got messed up more than once. Still, the food was very good.
Finally, the cabins are old with dated furniture. They are a bit tired, but still OK. It was very quiet and serene, which was nice.
It would be best to have a car at this place.

Disappointed
Beautiful location, rooms spacious
Very expensive for poor service
Though. Shower was mouldy, ordered room service and they advised 15 minutes and took nearly an hour and only
After chasing it.
Had fresh milk in fridge only to make tea and be vomiting as milk was off

Restaurant is expensive but the service was wonderful. The room had been upgraded but was "campy". The environment for the lodge was great but the exterior around the cabin was dirty. Overall the experience was good but with a little imagination and elbow grease it had the potential to be excellent.

Gorgeous location. Loved afternoon drinks on the deck looking at the sunset. Cabin comfortable and clean.
Seemed to be a lot of unrequired light pollution. All cabins had outdoor lights on all night even when not occupied. Lights on outside during daylight hours. Would be good to think more carefully about the environment

Great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Plenty of activities in the local area but it is also very quiet with a small population.
The cabin was very spacious with a comfy bed and good pillows.
Lovely bar and restaurant area with a fire place in the middle.
The ability to hire e-bikes was great and allowed us to explore more of the area.
Only negative is the menu lacks some basic options for dinner. A pizza would be good and some other light snacks.
Overall, this property is amazing and can’t wait to return.

The Flavours of East coast wine tasting and canapes was great. Sam was knowledgeable and made the experience.
