I stay in a lot of hotel rooms over the course of a normal year, and I’ve never had a stronger desire to write a review than I do today. Briefly: this hotel and especially its staff are simply superb, full stop.
It’s difficult to overstate how lovely the grounds of this hotel are — it’s a truly verdant oasis in the center of an otherwise rather dusty (if still lovely!) city. But none of us travels to a city just to spend time on a hotel’s grounds, and when you do decide to venture out to the bustling city center, the river promenade, or Luxor Temple itself, all you need to do is cross the street. They’re all literally feet away.
But as great as the hotel is, that’s not why i’m writing this review today — I’m writing this review because the staff of this hotel, in particular a staff member named Ola, went above and beyond in multiple different ways to help make our stay there with our elderly family comfortable by caringly accommodating some of our requests that I’d honestly describe as somewhat unreasonable. We felt so welcomed and cared for that I can’t imagine going anywhere else if we were ever in Luxor again.
