The pull out bed was worn out and you can feel the spring sitting/sleeping in it. The room was not as clean as it can be and you can see grim on the kitchen sink. They have microwave in the room but only provide paper plates and plastic forks, spoon and knives upon request.

The heater/air conditioner in the front room made an awful noise, so shut it off. Room had a strange smell to it. Looked like mildew growing around kitchen sink. And pretty sure there was a bed bug found in the bed. Staff was super nice when checking in. Didn’t speak to them after, did not go in for free breakfast. Rooms really need an update.

Nice hotel to stay while visiting Joshua Tree National park. It is cheaper as compared to nearby hotels, good thing is breakfast included which is normal stuff and good. Rooms are spacious, the building looks little worn. But ok for few days stays.

Horrible experiences
We booked for 2 days but when I checked in, I found that the toilet was not working and even there was a large cockroach. I requested to change the room but they didn't get the request because the hotel was full. So we decided to get refunded and moved to another hotel.

This is a Worst Western, not Best.
We booked a suite. It was disgustingly dirty and we walked out (after taking photos). It was that bad that despite paying in advance we gave the keys back to the receptionist. She was very apologetic and said she had a different room, a jacuzi room that we could look at. We looked and decided to stay as it was a hassle trrying to get another place that late and we had been driving all day. The whole place is run down, the pool is filthy, you'd probably cat h a disease if you used it. And, having downgraded our room to one half the size and with no kitchenette the hotel offered us NO refund or money back.

Would not stay again.
The registration wa great. Mikayla was very helpful. The rooms was ok, but the outside grounds were terrible. They need to hire a landscape company to trim trees , pull weeds fix the landscape rock. The pool area was even worse. Had to go out to the pool area to get ice. Not very accessible.

Disgusting property. Pool was disgusting, dirty shaving razor was at the pool edge with toilet paper all around, beer cans all over, and the bathroom had mold and the floors turned your feet black. DISGUSTING PLACE. Found bugs in our room, one was crawling on me in the middle of the night. If I could give zero stars I would.

Decent place for the $$
The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and big. The room walls and doors could use a wipe down. The shower water goes hot and cold during the 10 minute shower. Our bathroom toilet was plugged in the morning not sure what happened as it was working fine before we went to bed. Would be nice if they got pillows for the beds, I think there was a throw pillow and a sheet full of sheets for my pillows lol. But overall for the area was the best price for a decent place to stay for the night.
