Old and run down property which is under construction. Disappointing at best
The property is going through a refurbishment, which I wish we had known before booking it. But, I stayed here maybe 20 years ago when it was excellent, but now the refurbishment is needed. This stay wasn’t so good because of the work going on, but I look forward to staying here after it is completed.
No one told us there was construction going on. We were placed right above it, woken up each morning to the sound of hammers and drills and our floor vibrating by 9 each day. This was our second option and i highly regret it. Wish we would of stayed somewhere else.
Under construction and shady about only putting the renovation dates in the fine print....wouldnt allow a refund, tried to put us in a down graded room in spite of us booking a suute eith a spa tub....she purposely put us in a room with a view of another rooftop full of rusted out roof vents and pigeon crap everywhere....i wouldn't vote on this to be homeless housing let alonestay there myself
The room was disgusting.
The people working at the front desk were great! Friendly and helpful with information and questions. However, the hotel was under a huge renovation. It looked closed when I drove up. The conditions in the common areas were extremely dirty and the rooms were not much better. It was overdue for a total makeover and possibly should have not been open during. The only reason to return is the location, it around the corner from a family member being treated for cancer. Hopefully next time I’m here the renovation will be completed and conditions will have improved. Again, front desk staff was awesome!! Thank you for being so helpful & supportive during my stay!
Desk clerk was not wearing a mask at check in Smoke alarm went off multiple times Website stated renovation was being completed which was not true
Construction and no sign when you enter to direct you where to go to check in. No sign stating ice machine on 2nd floor was out of order. Walked all the way down the hall to find out it was out of order. Our bathroom sink had no plug and the water would not drain. The pastrys were old and hard, apples also. Lids were put out for the coffee and did not even fit the cups. So disappointing.
I realize this hotel is going through major renovations but it was so dirty, old and disgusting that if it weren’t for the fact that there was literally no where else to stay because of the wildfire evacuations, we would have left immediately. I am appalled that this place gets away with charging $160 a night for rooms that are falling apart and disgusting.
The room's "look" very old, and there were stains on the bed sheets. The smell in the room was also very weird. When we went to get breakfast, there was small flies in the wrapped food, so we didn't get any.
