Property has a lot of history and the staff was amazing. Bathroom is showing its age, tesla charger was a factor in booking, but there was a parking fee.
I thought overall it was a nice experience old style hotel and they are taking great care. My complaint is it would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room or free coffee downstairs. And some bottled water in the room.
The hotel itself was charming. Very cute front garden and patio. Ocho was pretty good for happy hour. We did find a dead cockroach in our room and the location we got was right by the back entrance and parking lot which woke us up quite a bit with people coming and going. I will also say the bed was too firm :( It made for a lot of back pain unfortunately. Overall would recommend if you request a better room location and if they have softer beds!
Have missed the Havana so much and coming back was so much sweeter. Thank you Havana for being my refuge!!
Stayed there for my daughter's wedding. Havana Hotel is the perfect place for that type of occasion. Very quaint and beautiful hotel. I truly enjoyed my stay.
Loved my stay! This is an older boutique hotel; it has character & quirks. If you want a standard, airport-type hermetically sealed hotel, you shouldn't choose this place. The very clean wood floors do creak, but the mattress was perfect--pillowtop & firm support (foam /spring hybrid), clean crisp linens, and 6 (smaller) pillows. Earplugs provided. The mini (more like a Maxi) bar is over the top! Sodas, wine, beer, booze, cocktails, unique snacks, chips, candy, & very reasonable $. (Sodas $2-3, cocktail in can $8, btl of champagne $60) Bag of ice in the freezer. Wine & bottle opener in rm. Bathroom was clean, functional. Environmentally-conscious amenities in large refillable bottles in shower. Kimono style bathrobes. The Havana Bar in the basement must not be missed! The vibe is dark & cozy, a hidden grotto of cocktail wonderfulness that must be explored throughly. Ocho restaurant was also fabulous. It's small-be sure to make reservations. Overlooking a quiet section of the Riverwalk, with large roll-up doors that can be opened as weather allows, I loved the big chandeliers. The small 2top tables were cute, but a bit too small. Loved the salmon belly ceviche w/plantain chips. This is a great hotel for a weekend getaway and I hope to come back soon.
It’s very cute and very charming. Only room they had for me (I had vip access but guess it wasn’t applied) was a room right off the lobby. So I heard everything, people talking, cleaning people, walking around, etc. didn’t sleep well bc of it and asked for another room and the check in lady was confused and not helpful. The hotel was very cute tho.
Very quaint, loved the decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The coffee was great!!
This is the second time my wife and I have stayed there. It was just as good as the first time. Can’t say enough about this hotel. Great all the way around.
Only stayed for one night but the architecture is the strongest and weakest feature of the hotel. The building is charming but creeks, has low shower head, and no bathroom countertop to name a few. Compared to other boutique hotels, the interior design is very basic and some missed opportunity to show attention to details. There were minimal amenities and service was a solid standard. The restaurant and basement bar are definitely the star of the property. Aside from that, was still pleasant for a one night stay.
