I typically give rave reviews, so will start with the positive - the price was reasonable, when we had an issue a couple of staff were quite helpful, the room was mostly clean, everything worked in the room, there were no bugs minus a single harmless stink bug.
Unfortunately, there were a lot of issues with our stay including dirty/soiled mattress cover on the pull out couch, three towels in the room for a four person reservation, empty bottles of bath supplies in tub, evening staff muting the front desk phone for room support, ripped couch cushions, no room service option to take out trash or recycling over weekend, lack of usual amenities (cold water in hot water carafe in lobby in evening, lack of cups, dirty counter).
To be honest, I am grateful we found a room over such a busy weekend, but expect certain standards when staying in a hotel. I swear we are not high maintenance folks, but there is a usual standard for these things, especially for a Marriott.
Not really impressed.
