Thanksgiving weekend in Manteo
It was a nice stay and the outdoor pools were closed and the front desk lady gave us another access card to the indoor pool in eldorado. Our room was facing the parking lot but it was quiet. Of coz it would be nicer if facing the lake with higher rate. Pools were okay, have sauna in Manteo and Steam room in Eldorado; however, always out of towels. Just let the staffs know and they are very helpful. The only unpleasant thing was a group of guests living in a Villa next to the putting green, smoking weed. It was also next to the indoor pool entrance and i was going in and out the pool with my kids. It should be a smoke free area, isn't it?

**5 Stars! Exceptional Stay and Service**
We ecently stayed at Manteo and Eldorado Resort and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The hotel was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered all the amenities you could hope for. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a perfect stay. 2 mins walk to a nice and clean beach. What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service. A special mention goes out to Noberto at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Noberto was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always available to help with any request. His dedication to providing top-notch service made a lasting impression on me, and I can't thank him enough for making our stay so memorable. I highly recommend Eldorado Resort to anyone looking for a first-class experience. We will definitely be returning for another stay in the future!

The view was spectacular Overlooking the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was really good. The hotel itself needs some updating. The carpets are really badly stained, the elevator is quite slow and there is only one elevator and many guests. The key cards failed often. We had to update on a daily basis if not more, which was very frustrating. We were on the fourth floor waiting for the elevator to have our key card recoded. There was many additional charges such as daily parking and resort fees. Food on site was quite expensive and because of the cost felt that the food should've been a better quality. An example is nachos for two people is $35 and if you wanted to add a little bit of chicken or hamburger, it was an additional $15. All around a lot more expensive than we had anticipated but again the views were great.
