I can honestly say this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. If you want to be kept awake by a nightclub and it’s patrons then this is the place for you!!

Night club noise
Everything was great except the hotel is right next to a night club. I used the provided ear plugs, had the windows closed, and had a pillow on my head and I kept waking up even though I was exhausted from travel.

Don’t stay here if you want to get any sleep. Open air night club right outside our room window-closing double windows did not help much.

Very very slow toilet in room. No room heat had to use portable from front desk. Very very noisy at night because of night club. Get street room could be less noise. Devits Pub just around the corner great place to eat hear music.

Honestly, this isn’t as bad as it’s made out to be. Hotel is dated, rooms are small. Biggest issue is the nightclub. You can close the windows to block out the noise but as there is no central air, it will get hot & stuffy quickly. But the reality is, is the hotel has to make up its mind, do you want to be a hotel or a nightclub? And offering earplugs to help with the noise is an insult. Rooms should cost less just for that inconvenience.

Ok, maybe I didn’t read other reviews, but this hotel is above a night club, if you go on the website the hours are 10-late. Late was 3AM. Heard every single word of every single song even with provided ear plugs. I wish I would’ve know, it was pretty pricey to stay here because Coldplay was in town so I was expecting a relaxing experience and this did not deliver that. However, cool neighborhood and the Liberty Belle bar was my favorite in all of Dublin. If I was 10 years younger the club would’ve been a dream, but just noting since it was unexpected!

Even if you stay on the top floor, the club is LOUD. Earplugs don’t help and windows let all outside noise in. Do not stay here if you are planning on sleeping.

Great location for sightseeing and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a club on the ground level, which can be loud depending on where your room is located. Lack of a mini-fridge was a drawback. Lastly, the double room for 2 adults is quite small, the bedpost for one of the beds was almost touching the wall making it difficult to move within the room.

Anyone considering staying here needs to know there's a discoteque in the building. When I was there the party didn't stop until 4 AM. It VERY much affected my trip as I had great difficulty staying awake for why I made the trip after only 3 hours sleep. However, the hotel leaves complimentary ear plugs in the room. So, its not all bad.

the hotel was very charming... the room was the bare min nothing good - but also nothing really bad. Until about 2-3 am when you still cannot sleep. To be fair the front desk offered another floor when I checked in but I would of had to carry my luggage up and I had a few bags and by myself- so I turned it down, that was a mistake. Also know the parking is a bit of a walk

Good location, but that's about it
We booked a twin room that was meant to be 22 sqm, but it was actually more like a box room. Luckily we didn't have large suitcases as there would have been no space to open them. The room was quite dated especially the bathroom. Nothing like in the photos. We knew about the nightclub in the hotel so that was fine. Saying that, this is definitely not a place for light sleepers as you will hear the loud music till late at night. The most disappointing thing was when it came to the payment. According to booking confirmation we were meant to pay at the hotel in EUR, but they took payment few days before arrival using the card used to secure the booking. Had we known, we would have paid in Sterling when we made the booking. Despite Hotels.com contacting the hotel to refund the early payment, they refused without any apology.
