They need an elevator!
We had several heavy suitcases and this hotel has no elevators and our room was on the second floor. We wouldn’t stay here again due to the lack of an elevator. Their free breakfast is exceptional though!

I thought that being walking distance to the ski mountain that the hotel would be nicer. The lobby was actually very beautiful but the rooms are dark and dreary. There was a nice spot to sit outside with Adirondack chairs, but they were covered in bird crap. The pool had a lot of stuff floating in it. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor, although the very nice man at the desk offered to carry my bags up. My bed sheet had a big hole in it which had to have been noticed by whoever made the bed. I did ask for a new one and they brought it right away. Also I was happy to have daily housekeeping service, which most hotels don’t bother with anymore. So the staff was good but the facilities not so much. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The BW Tyrolean Lodge is in the town of Sun Valley. It is not in the resort. Rooms at the front face the mountains. Since we were there in August (NOT ski season) I don't know how one gets to the ski area. The lodge is very close to downtown shopping and restaurants.
