This is a lovely hotel right on the banks of River Dee. Staff are always very friendly and helpful and the hotel had some lovely quirky relaxation areas eg the main hall with large open fire, several comfortable chairs/sofa's, suits of armour etc

Highland Gem.
First time staying here it’s a very nice place. Warm welcome on arrival with the information required for an enjoyable stay. I even received a phone call asking was everything in my room ok? Lovely riverside view shame it’s a cold February morning or it would be perfect. Lots of onsite parking. Great in room amenities. Food was flavoursome and well presented with great service. Comfy room. Highly recommended.
It’s historical value and sensitive modernization and amenities along with excellent menu

Great hotel, full of character features that you’d expect from a property built in 1225 but internally the rooms and communal areas were modern and extremely clean. Fantastic hotel

Check was very quick and despite there being an event being held the night of our stay the entire hotel was very quiet.
Excellent food and wait staff and bar staff were very friendly also.
We will be booking again and hopefully have more time to enjoy the surrounding property and communities.

Lovely hotel, although the rooms which haven’t been updated are tired and needing renovated. The restaurant food is lovely but in my opinion overpriced.
