Lovely location
We were there for a family wedding we had a room with a beautiful riverside view. This was cheaper to book through Hotels.com than direct with the hotel. Our room was lovely with a stunning bathroom. The hotel staff were really friendly. The hotel is currently being re decorated and is looking good but some of the carpets need updating and could cause trips. Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice. Overall would thoroughly recommend.

Arrived in the evening during the month of November. Lighting in the car park area could do with improvement. Otherwise hotel is very nice indeed with friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely touch!
We stayed here for my husbands birthday treat and on entering the room (with terrace, which I would recommend - the bathroom is also very clean and spacious) he was presented with some home made chocs on a slate wishing him a happy birthday. Which was a lovely touch. The food was excellent- I would recommend Rock Turbet with sampfire. Service was excellent throughout. This was our 2nd visit and we will hopefully be back soon.

This hotel is very affordable, and seems to cater to business travelers during the week. Hotel could use some sprucing up. Hallways need fresh paint and while the bathroom looked great, my shower did overflow a bit. The great room was 800 years old and in general the gathering rooms had a fishing and hunting vibe. Situated on the river Dee and with an old church ruin on the grounds, it was a very picturesque spot. Staff was helpful and friendly, I would recommend this hotel to friends as an affordable and pleasant accommodation.
