Amazing experience- it’s a bit pricey at almost $200 per night (including their $33 amenity fee).
The room was great, staff was super nice and house keeping was thorough. I liked the view, the hot tub and the good sized bathroom. They have a tub as well as a separate shower in the premium king room.
Sheets were spotless, thermostat works and so did the elevator.
The only thing I’m unhappy about is that they charge $75 per night for incidentals, which they are supposed to refund. I stayed for 4 days and they charged me $300 on my international card. I’m not going to get a refund on the currency conversion charges.
Not sure why they need incidental fee of $75 per night instead of per stay.
As a foreign traveller I would avoid this hotel in future for this reason, since I can’t afford to have my forex card blocked while traveling aboard, so am paying unnecessary currency conversion charges to credit card companies just to fulfil this hotel’s unique & unusual demands on incidental charges. It’s not even mentioned on Expedia so I couldn’t change anything either.
And I haven’t yet received the refund, so let’s see how many days I will need to wait. In the meantime I have to pay the credit card bill for the $300 unnecessary charge.
