It was fine
Hotel was just okay. Didn’t have the best smell. Bed was ok. Location was nice, next to Hyvee. We just needed a place to lay our heads for one night before catching an early train the next day so we didn’t expect much. Price was good.

Our stay was okay. Rooms seemed clean. Staff SUPER friendly and helpful. Had we known this was a place where people also LIVE—-maybe would have stayed elsewhere. No smoking signs on all rooms but hallways and rooms sure smelled of smoke. Lots of late-night loudness (from rooms we assumed were from live-ins by signs and notes on doors. This is a great location - just unfortunate the way it is run.

The lobby was dingy. Check-in was slow only one person doing check in even though they were sold out. The elevator was out of order. Had to carry luggage up three flights. No breakfast. Limited TV channels. O premium cable channels. Went to the desk for additional towels but no one at the desk and. Nobody answered the phone. I will never return to this property again.

This hotel has went downhill. Elevator was broke. Microwave was broke. Only a handful of tv channels comes in. No coffee pot in the room. The tub barely drained when you take a shower. Service was friendly and the price was cheap.

I stood at the front desk for 25 minutes waiting for someone to check me in and I even called the desk and no body answered. Housekeeping never came and cleNed my room or gave me new towels. I didn't even stay my second night . Waste of money

If you are a smoker it wont bother you. It gives 70's vibes where the carpet isnt updated, and they open the windows and smoke outside the windows and doors letting it enter the building. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and decided to give up the refund and go elsewhere within 20 minutes of arriving. Im not asthmatic and could not comfortably breathe. Luckily we had 1 night refunded.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Poor customer service at check-in -- had to wait 10 minutes while three men stood behind counter talking with each other. Tried to charge me 3.00 for a misc service charge not originally included in Hotels.com pricing--could not tell me what it was for and got upset when I refused to pay it. Did not tell me elevator was broken until after I paid -- I have knee issues and cannot walk stairs -- I told them that at reservation. Barking dogs in hallway. Musty, moldy smell in room and bed was damp. No breakfast even though advertised as part of price. Hard beds and pillows. A/C never fully cooled room. Rickety bed foundations. Fridge turned up to high but never got cold. Limited TV options. Lamp on table worked intermittently -- was told it was "just the way it is."

Made a reservation on line. When I got there they said they did not have any rooms. They sent me to another hotel down the street. That has never happened before. The hotel that I stayed at did not have any food left at the continental breakfast the next morning and it was only 8:30.
