Beautiful, in the center of everything in Coyoacan
Beautiful gardens. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. They charged us 200 pesos to hold our bags after our stay for a half a day which kind of annoyed me, but other than that tiny thing it was perfect.

Great location!
Casa Tuna is on a quiet street only two blocks from the main square where many great restaurants are located. The location was only a 10 minute walk to the Frida Kahlo museum.
Our room was very spacious. There was a really nice shared roof top patio with a nice view.
The staff was very friendly.

Casa Tuna is a quiet, lovely small hotel in the heart of Coyoacan. It is a retreat from the hustle of the city.
The patio with fountain and flowers is perfect to start the day with a great breakfast.
The staff are wonderful! Super gracious, friendly and helpful. They are always ready to go beyond what is in their scope of duties. We enjoy this peaceful place!

Casa Tuna is so peaceful and lush - I found myself wanting to stay on property to read/relax rather than exploring the city! Super clean and a wonderful, attentive staff. We would absolutely stay here again.

Charming Stay at sister property Casa Moctezuma!!
I originally booked Casa Tuna through hotels.com but hours later got a message from the property saying they did not have any availability & asked if I could move to their sister property Casa Moctezuma a few blocks away also in the neighborhood of Coyoacán. So this is really a review for that property. The woman who checked me in spoke perfect English, not sure her name but I took a business card for Zulema. She explained to me that Casa Moctezuma was a more traditional house & that Casa Tuna was more modern. It didn't matter as the place was beautiful & has an amazing courtyard where I had breakfast every morning. On my last night I sat outside in the courtyard & drank some wine. Miguel is kind of the everyman, he's there for anything it seems round the clock & never seems to sleep!! The women who cook breakfast also make the freshest Passion Fruit Jelly puree that they serve with breakfast. I walked in one afternoon to them cooking / jarring it...incredible! My only complaints were I wish someone explained what amentities were available. I learned there was a community room with a movie projector on my last night. Also, there was a card with many different WIFI options that never seemed to work very well. It might have been my room location as I was in the back property. Also, my bedroom was in the back corner and 2 nights in a row, people kept having conversations outside my bedroom window at 4AM. That being said, I LOVED this place and plan to stay again!!

Home Away from Home
The hotel owner was gracious and paid for my taxi ride to the hotel because the driver only took cash and I had none at the time. I was able to go to an atm and return the cash to the hotel owner. Will be my home away from home when I go back to Mexico City
