SCAMMERS
I booked and paid for this trip a couple of months BEFORE my actual visit- I actually over booked an extra night which Thankfully I realized weeks before my trip- Hoyel credited my card the extra night - on the actual day of my trip, my flight was delay and I arrived late evening - I had already electronically checked in and all I needed to do was pick up my room keys (SO I THOUGHT). The employee working made the process beyond HORRIBLE, after about 10 minutes of her clicking through the computer, she kept nodding her head and smacking her lips, so I asked if there was an issue- she said “I have a note from my manager that I cannot check you in because your card declined” ???? What in the actual !!!! I told her how is that possible when this trip was paid for months before - I even showed her my card statement- she refused and kept saying “my manager, my manager, my manager” after like 30-40 minutes of me laying out PROOF of payment and refusing to give any other type of payment - she said “I WILL CHECK YOU IN, BUT YOU HAVE TO FIX THIS WITH MY MANAGER” - why did I stay, because it was almost MIDNIGHT, and I already paid 11 days of hotel stay! I couldn’t sleep as I was calling nearby hotels and my credit card company and hotels.com and my bank- first thing the next morning I went to speak with the manager and told her everything, the manager looked at computer and was confused because she said “THERE IS NOTHING IN YOUR FILE”!
