Keep driving!!! Building looks like it should be demolished. Stayed with a group. We each had a renovated room. Looked ok, but the beds were horrible and on wheels. Barely any toilet paper or shower gel left in rooms. A list was given of the cost of replacement for each item in the room...like not to get the white towels dirty or you would be charged. Then don't provide white towels. No one was ever at the front desk to request more. Vending machine provided a pop that expired in 2018- it's 2024!! And again, no one at front desk to speak to about it. Sleep in your car or keep driving until you reach a bigger town/city to stay at a decent hotel. Never again.

The exterior leaves a lot to be desired, but for such a small town it is better than most. The lobby is very well looked after and the rooms looked good for first impressions. The old fashion lock are definitly a throwback with a real key not a card.

Lobby and rooms have been recently renovated.
Bed was comfortable. Room was simple but functional. The community kitchen needs to be de cluttered.

We were lucky enough to get one of the nicer rooms on the main floor. The other rooms were absolutely awful. The second floor smelled so badly of smoke and the main floor smelled like an old deep fryer even though there wasn’t food. The nicer rooms are pretty expensive for what you get but we were in town for a wedding.

The room had not been cleaned. Black hairs around the sink, as well as old soap scum, toilet was not cleaned either. I slept fully clothed. Thank goodness it was only one night. Try to stay in consort if you can.

They are starting our new. Trying to renovate but they are doing the Reno’s themselves and it shows. They need to hire professionals. There is no restaurant or staff really. Except bar staff.

Do not book here. Rooms are filthy and it’s non refundable on expedia so you will not get your money back.
I assume this is an ongoing issue as there is literally a page of items to initial upon check in and one of them is no room change 10 mins after check in which I’ve never heard of before.
First room, floors were dirty and obv sheets were not changed on the bed. If you have laminate floors in the renovated rooms it’s a good idea to sweep / mop them sometimes as the dirt and liquid spills are easily visible and not easily hidden like carpeted rooms. Spoke to manager / owner and he acted shocked but I doubt that was genuine as we never saw a clean room.
Second room was dirty. (Didn’t see it)
Third room floor was dirty but sheets appeared clean and was too cold to sleep in the car. I asked manager / owner if he would be willing to clean the urine off the bathroom floor while I was gone but he did not. Washed urine off toilet seat myself and wore shoes into the washroom and everywhere else.
Tv was excellent and the room itself would be good if they hired new cleaning staff. Clean rooms is the basic requirement of a hotel experience and sadly it was missing here.

The price for me was the key. $50 per night, which I didn’t expect much and didn’t get much.

The room was trashed it looked like somebody had just literally broken every fixture in the room and the bed was remade for the next guests the bedding and towels were unclean A space heater was required to keep the room adequate heated even though it was 0°C outside due to a large hole in the wall covered by masking tape and some sort of trash bag & the guestroom door had a quarter inch gap from the frame overall filthy and disgusting if I was a female I would definitely not stay here
