Difficult at first, great afterwards, lovely staff
Although there was nobody there during the hours stated (I arrived at 5pm) which was difficult, the experience after that was absolutely excellent and the staff were really kind. I think that it would be good to know beforehand in the advertisement that the reception is not staffed after 3pm so that if you want to check-in in person, it must be before 3pm and after 2pm. This threw me slightly.
The room, however, was spotlessly clean, with a lovely warm shower (rain head as well!) and the location is very near everything, down a quiet side street. The bed was very comfortable and the window opened to let in air on this warm day.
The staff also did everything they could to help and were open and friendly. The breakfast was good and coffee even better.
The only thing bad was the advertised hours of opening not being true so I had to find the key myself at the upstairs desk. Besides this, which was a small thing in the end, everything was good - thank you.
