During this business trip stay, we encountered extremely hot weather, and the air conditioning in all three booked rooms failed. Despite the front desk offering a full refund for one night for each room, they stated they couldn't process it because the booking was made through Expedia. After following up with Novotel through Expedia, the best they could offer was a disappointing 25% discount. The conditions in the rooms were uninhabitable, making it impossible for anyone to sleep due to the intense heat and humidity. We were penalised for using Expedia

Several amenities were missing or malfunctioning, including missing light fixtures and inadequate lighting throughout the room. The bathroom layout was poorly designed, causing inconvenience during use. The absence of night lights or dim lights further exacerbated the situation, making it challenging to navigate the bathroom at night. Additionally, the room carpet was visibly soiled, and the bathroom had not been adequately dried, which contributed to the overall discomfort.

Lovely big room but the outlook was over the centre of the building. Would have preferred an outside view. There was an annoying noise which I think related to the lifts. Room felt a bit dated and there needed to be some lights on nightstands. Location was great but there was a sewer smell in the area which permeated through the entrance lifts which wasn’t pleasant. Breakfast was very good. Staff were all helpful and friendly.
