John Carver Inn Stay at Playmouth
If you are looking for a place to rest, this is not the place for you. The isolation is terrible, you can hear everything that is happening in the corridors and in the rooms next door. We tried to use the jacuzzi, but the water was practically cold! as well as the atmosphere in the pool area. The only thing I could do was use the sauna. There is a games room, which is good for children, but there is little variety, the restaurant is a bit dirty which left expectations low.

Quick family winter getaway
Quick winter getaway - mainly for the pool/waterslide/hottub. The room was clean and beds comfortable. I was disappointed that the hot tub was not hot. The hotel didn’t post that it was malfunctioning. The last day we were there it was a bit better but not great. Also it could use a deep clean. My son enjoyed the pool and waterslide. Overall a nice stay and close by to lots of restaurants and historic attractions.

Great place to stay for kids with the pool area (with a water slide) and the arcade room. Every member of the staff we engaged with was pleasant and accommodating.
