Self-service all the way: quick and easy
It was easy and simple. The room however did get quite warm but opening the window was not an option as we were on the 1st floor next to the road so sounds echo-ed quite a bit. Not a lot of plugs next to the bed/nightstands. Overall, it's fine - just not quite used to a self-service stay - which was pretty much common everywhere in Norway? It was nice that they had a self-service luggage storage - seemed safe as it was in Norway.

Website says there's a breakfast room but I couldn't find it and since there's no reception (that I could find anyway), there was no one to ask. That said, very easy check in with txt code, room was spotless and comfortable and hotel is in an excellent location.

Good price for a simple room. Actually no staff. You use a pin number to enter the hotel and your room. Expedia was to send us the pin and room number, but didn't. Had to call (international call for me) to get the hotel to send me the pin and room number by text. But for the price, it was a good room and great part of the city to stay and walk around to many local restaurants and bars.

Just don’t stay here
First we get an email with a key code, no desk person on duty, then we can’t get to the hotel because the roads are closed due to some event, then when we finally arrive and get to our room it’s small, hot and noisy. The street noise itself was absurd but we were tired so we just dealt with it, it was so hot and advertised as having AC which it did not but we could not open the window due to the noise so again we just dealt with it. Overall this was one of the worst hotels we stayed in during our 3 week trip in Norway. I get it’s a budget hotel but I’ve stayed in hostels that were better for far less money.

The noise from a local bar in the middle of the night won’t let you sleep. The staff in the front desk is never there. There’s no way to enter the property because I never received a text with a secret combination. Terrible place

Little sleep due to pounding music.
The staff were great, allowed to check in early and even leave my bags there before I checked in. The room was ok for a solo person for a night. However only 1 very small pillow. Also I had a terrible night sleep due to some disco/ nightclub playing extremely loud music into the early hours. The music was so loud the room felt like it was vibrating. Not what you need after a days travel and I’m my case a days work also. I would not stay again due to this. I’d recommend avoiding this place at all cost at the weekend. As not being able to sleep in a hotel room due to other businesses in the area is really unacceptable.

Nice Hotel...Well located!!!
the location is ideal right in the center of the city. We loved the breakfast, and the courteous treatment we received from every one at the hotel. We just want to recommend the rooms to be cleaned a little more. This includes the restrooms!

Amazing location, very close to all amenities. Very friendly staff. Clean & huge rooms. Good in room facilities. Location at bit noisy area, though with nights being bit difficult with drunken shouting. Good choice of breakfast. Close or walking distance to city center from where you can catch most tour operators.

Excellent service
Great location with many shops and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was delicious - good variety and assortment. They baked fresh gluten-free bread upon request! What stands out is their excellent customer service - my son left his passport there and the hotel staff was very helpful in getting it to us expeditiously in another town. Very much appreciated!!! Some minor cons - tiny bathrooms. There is no on-site parking...we ended up paying a whopping $50 per night.

Too noisy
The hotel has very van insulation, you can hear the tv playing in the room at the side or above. Also, all the room from the streets! I don’t think their windows are good enough and the hotel is in an area with a lot of night life then it can get very noise until very late at night. Bed was ok, heating on the room was acceptable but not very efficient, and breakfast was a bit too simple or poor.

Stayed twice, once on the first floor and once on the third. The first was a little noisy on a Saturday night, which is maybe to be expected in a lively restaurant district. The third was blissfully quiet.
