The price was right
The price was very good, every staff member that I interacted with was very helpful, friendly and nice. The property was updated mostly but it was not very clean. The floors needed to be cleaned. Out of every room I accessed mine and my 2 sons rooms, the bath tubs were dirty looking because the finishes were done poorly. A couple of them were peeling. The other aspects of the rooms and property were very nice looking. If the price wasn’t so reasonable I would have left and went to a different hotel. By the time I checked in the housekeeping staff was off for the day and the next day for Thanksgiving so I went Dollar General and bought a broom and dust pan and mop.

Power Outage
During the 2nd night of my stay the power to the entirety of the hotel went out around 12:30/1p and was not restored until after 7p. I understand it may have been out of days inn control but it still negatively impacted my stay by not having power for that amount of time and on a holiday no less.

Pretty good
The staff was great! The lady who checked me in was very friendly. The biggest problem is the shower I think. Room had been recently updated and looks great with the new decor, new flooring, new furniture. The bathroom was a different story. Definitely need to update the showers/tub. The bottom of the tub was peeling, it had been painted I assume to look newer but it was not in good shape. I found paint chips later in the day stuck to the bottom of my foot. The stay included breakfast which was pretty good. Price was really reasonable. Overall I would say it was a good stay.

The hotel has long term residents staying there as well as transit individuals. Having strange men hanging out in secluded area of the property felt unsafe. Local law enforcement mentioned it not being the safest of places to stay. Room had nowhere to hang clothing or to even unpack your clothing from your suitcase. Bathroom not the best of condition. Hotel breakfast not very desirable.

Carpet on property was very dirty. House cleaning noted they no longer have vacuums to use since rooms have non-carpeted floors. Room had no drawers or closets. Pillows were terrible; had like plastic covers under the cover.
