It was clean. Found a twist tie on the floor. I hadn’t unpacked. I walked to the dog area, cigarette butts, charcoal on the ground with a dead mouse. At least this was outside.

I was gear to visit my son who is in college. I booked the hotel due to Continental breakfast and a pool. Because I also had younger kids with on trip. A 4 and 11 year old with. I was disappointed the pool was closed for maintenance. Has I know I would have booked another hotel. Especially with the younger kids wanting to swim. Stayed 3 nights and would have had plenty of time to swim. I just wish website was updated pool was not in use right now. So I could have went elsewhere. Although I will say the staff here was very friendly and I had this hotel booked a year ago and that is why we choose to stay here again. Friendly staff, breakfast and the pool.

Staff was friendly. Beds were comfy. The room had a pervasive mildewy stale smell, as if something was wet and did not dry properly (ie: carpet). Also the hotel should consider removing the old mildew stained caulking around the tub and replacing it.

The hotel itself was wonderful but it’s literally next to very busy train crossing. They offer sound machines and things but we didn’t see this on any of the review when we booked. Also be prepared to hear everything that’s happening in the hallway as you will hear every sneeze. That said our stay was amazing and we loved the ladies at the front.

This the 3rd time in a year that we have stayed here and the pool has been all 3 times. This time got no maid service all 4 days we were there. When I checked out the guy at the desk said when we checked in it was a new person and they checked no maid service requested. Not staying on our next visit.

The tub/shower did not drain. While in the shower, the water remained over ankle deep. The air only worked at 67 degrees or below. Otherwise its was hot, humid and no air was removing in the room. Room 323 is at the back and is near the train tracks and one of the main roads so you hear literally everything. A sound machine was offered but if I am trying to block out sound what is the purpose of different sound? There were red splatters on the ceiling above the bed closest to the bathroom. No clue what they were from. Not sure I wanted to know! Maybe this was not a updated room because for 129 a night this was not worth the price.
