Not as glamourous as I was expecting
The hotel is currently undergoing some major renovation, so there is a lot of construction going on. Not sure if this was the cause of so little staff working, but there was rarely anyone at the front desk, and the spa was closed. There was also no internet connection at all, and the tv reception in the room was terrible. It must have been a very nice place in its heyday, but it is pretty run down at this point. The views are still gorgeous however.

Good experience in Le Grand Courlan Spa Resort
Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The front desk staff were outstanding: we received incredible service, and they were always friendly and attentive to resolve any problems or questions that came up during our visit. The restaurant staff also treated us wonderfully; the food was good, and breakfast was especially delicious. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, and the pool area is beautiful, with a spectacular view that’s truly worth it. The only suggestion I’d make is for the hotel to consider updating the bathrooms in the common areas, like in the lobby, restaurant, and pool area, and ensuring they are kept cleaner. Additionally, it would be amazing if the pool bar could be open, at least on the weekends. Overall, our experience was very positive. I think the cost of the hotel is fair for what it offers, and I would definitely recommend it.

The view of the ocean from the property is amazing. The location is ideal, not too far from stores, restaurants, etc. The buffet breakfast is tasty, and the staff serving is courteous and friendly. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept in since traveling. The scenery from my room was so good that I got many good videos for my website (travelwith2ofus). There are a couple of spots that need a little touching up, but nothing to prevent me from staying there again.

The rooms are not very well maintained. There was black mold in the air-condition unit which flared up my allergies. The staff really tried their best to help rectify the sithation by upgrading us to a suite, but, in the suite the av was not working and the water was running brown out of the taps. I would like to say though that the staff of the establishment are very pleasant and made this experience for us, but management or owners really need to take better care of the hotel so staff could be saved the embarrassment.
