BED COLLAPSED,SUPER SMOKY ROOM
Our bed literally collapsed right under us while trying to rest after traveling hrs from off the road.Breakfast pancakes are so thin you need three to stack to make one.We booked a non-smoking room,however were only told to keep the smoking since its all they had available.This ended in my husband having migraines for the three days we were there.It used to be better we stayed there two yrs prior w no problem.

We told them we’d have two small dogs. The room they put us in was foul to say the least. As soon as you opened the door the smell of dog and cat urine flooded then as you walk in they cover up the smell with febreeze. We asked to change rooms they said they just gave out the last room. My husband comes back with more febreeze I show him a picture of cockroaches on the wall they somehow found us another room an hour after we check in. Then the next morning we go for breakfast and our key doesn’t let us back in they tell us that our credit card declined which I asked why did you give us the room then? Come to find out their machine had a dead battery. I would never recommend this property to anyone.

Horrible stay
This place is disgusting. Elevator is at least 30+ years old and poorly maintained. The room had mold on the ceilings and the entire room smelled. There was an old blood stain on the comforter and most of the outlets in the room did not work. Never stay here if you can avoid it. Also the front desk employees have no idea where they are or what they are doing.

Nightmare and pretty sure fire violations
We asked for 2 handicap accessible rooms within close proximity to each other. Neither were handicap accessible and they were at opposite ends of the hotel from each other. There was only one entry/exit thru the main entrance of the hotel. If u turned off the light switch it turned off the tv. And then when we woke up in the morning...the floor was wet...unknown if it was the fridge or the ac that was leaking. This has got to be a stand alone not a corporate LaQuinta...because i have never stayed in one this terrible. Ever...anywhere in the country.

Stay Away.
Despicable. I attempted to cancel this hotel An hour before the cancellation window as I was attempting to evacuate from a hurricane. Hotels.com Happ would not work an hour before cancellation deadline and the hotel would not pick up there phone and respond. I was given no reasonable way to make a cancellation. If this is not remedied I have to rate this 1 star as it’s just a money grab from hurricane evacuators.

Disappointing
The bathroom was not clean. There was a smeared “brown substance” on the toilet. The shower curtain had mildew on it the floor was dirty. There were clothes and underwear in the closet from the previous guests. When I asked them to come and look they insisted that the room was clean and did nothing. The guy asked if those were my clothes in the closet and I said no, he had just checked us in. He took the clothes out of the closet but that was it.

Overall our stay was average. The room was comfortable but I wasn’t loving the bathroom doors. The hallway carpeting needed cleaning but I was told the building was undergoing renovation so that explains it
