Nicely refurbished rooms
Our stay was good. Newly refurbished rooms look very nice. The bed and bedding is very comfortable. Our only complaint is that We find that all the synthetic cotton mix/polyester bedding is quite hot to sleep in. The shower is very good, but the half glass on the cubicle means water goes out onto the bathroom floor! You have to wonder if whoever designs these bathrooms ever actually uses them! You have to be very tall to reach the hooks on the back of the bathroom door! We did not like the “self Check in”. The receptionists have to help most people to “check in & out” on these “self serve” kiosks anyway. A very good breakfast. A little disappointing that after ordering Gluten Free Eggs & Toast, I had to ask 3 times to finally receive my meal. I am medically diagnosed Coeliac. The hotel is very conveniently located to Circular Quay and the Opera House. We would stay here again.

Disappointing. Changes and not for the better.
Was self check screens which you have to type all the info in on a screen with app type keyboard. Really dislike those as it’s very impersonal and you can’t talk to them about the room you want, eg quiet. You pay all that money and they want you to do all the work for them. Rooms had been refurbed, but aircon was very noisy. Had to turn it off overnight. Probably won’t use this hotel again.

The room was fairly small and cramped, clean and in a great location. No exhaust fan in the bathroom meaning you must keep the door shut or risk setting off the smoke alarm and incurring a possible fine, worst thing was the cleaning staff who knock and walk straight in before a reply, catching me out in the full monty, Not impressed.

Conveniently located in Central Sydney CBD, easy walking distance to the areas of interest (Circular Quay, The Rocks, Darling Harbour, etc). Friendly staff & easy check in/check out. Only facility that would be nice if included is a pool, especially if staying in summer. No big deal, as we were there in winter. Wouldn’t be a deal breaker for us though, would definitely stay there again & happy to recommend.

See through bathroom doors
The rooms and bathrooms are too small. The bathrooms have got glass doors which are 80% see through. Its looks good only if ur travelling as a couple. Otherwise looks weird.

Hotel staff were extremely polite and accommodating. The hotel itself was very clean, quiet and well organised. Being a couple of blocks from the main centre was great away from too much noise at the same time right near Wynyard station for quick access anywhere

It was ok. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear the next room. Tiny bathroom, poorly designed shower, water leaked onto floor from a bad design of bathroom. Unfortunately these aren’t quick and cheap fixes. So I guess they are stuck with that. Front of house/reception staff extremely nice and friendly. House keeping staff left the dirty linen and rubbish on the floor in hallways after they had finished the floor. That’s a fire and health and safety hazard. Would I stay here again… probabaly not. Also the pillows were so uncomfortable.

Water leakage and quite bad soundproof
The hotel is nicely located, less than a minute's walk from the train station. The room is quite new. However, the shower and toilet are terrible. The water pressure in the shower is very weak so the shower wasn't comfy. Besides, the shower is only half covered by a glass wall, so the leakage is horrible. The bathroom is basically soaked wet every time after showers, which was unpleasant and inconvenient. Besides, there's a reflux problem in the toilet bowl, there were times we saw 'things' refluxed after flushing the toilet. We had to make sure we flushed twice at least and waited (but sometimes will still saw reflux the next morning, though) The soundproofing of the rooms was quite bad, too. You could hear people hanging their showerheads or the sound from the TV from next week.
