Former Franciscan monastery dating back to 1280 In Eisenach Zentrum, next door to Lutherhaus. Room was clean, quiet, and simply furnished. Front desk only staffed between 1:30 pm and 10:00 pm. Parking limited to 4 spaces in garage behind (and connected to) hotel or on street with purchase of a "parkschein.". Excellent European-style breakfast buffet is included.

The hotel is right in the center and almost next to the Luther house. Everything is clean and the staff is very friendly and supportive. We had troubles to find it. Coming from Marktplatz, we expected it to be visible from there which it is not. A sign leading to the hotel from Marktplatz would be nice.

This was a great hotel! Location was perfect - we walked everywhere - the room was absolutely gorgeous, WiFi worked beautifully, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the free coffee in the lobby was wonderful, breakfast was delicious - I hated to check out!

Das ganze Hotel hat ein Abwasserproblem, schon im Eingangsbereich hat es streng gerochen. Der Geruch hat sich über alle Gänge verteilt. Im Badezimmer hat die Absauganlage nicht funktioniert.

Eisenach erleben mit allen Sinnen; Staatstheater, Bachhaus, Luthermuseum, Automuseum, sehr schönes Stadtzentrum, die Wartburg, der Stadtpark, die Drachenschlucht - man kann noch vieles mehr aufzählen. Am besten man schaut sich diese schöne Villenstadt persönlich an.
