From the moment we arrived until we left the staff here were exceptionally polite, kind and helpful. The room was clean and it was especially useful to have use of the kitchenette. It’s in a prime location for the beach and restaurants. Will go back. My thanks to all the staff during our stay July 29 - August 2.

The staff at this hotel were amazing! Very welcoming and the hotel is in a great location. It was a unique spot and very clean, however, the beds were not very comfortable and there was a really powerful “musty” smell in the rooms. The staff were very welcoming, the little extras that made our stay more enjoyable were a nice touch for example we had a hand written welcome message left in our room, and a hot drinks machine was available in the dining/bar area which you could get a drink at any time. The reception staff were very helpful with suggestions of where to visit or restaurants, this helped make the best use of the time we stayed as the recommendations were very good. We will definitely be back in the autumn as this is a great place to stay, 5 minutes from the tram station and a stroll to the promenade. Thank you to all at the Jay.

There is a guy at the lobby who I forgot to ask his name but he was super nice and he memorized all the families last names!! Such a nice gesture. It is super convenient, closed to downtown and train station. You don’t need a taxi at all
