Things not so great
$8 in room water bottle was terrible. Bath towels were extremely small.

Always a perfect stay. Been staying at this hotel for 35 years. I love it and yes I have stayed at other French Quarter hotels. They make me feel like I’m at home. Bars and restaurants are great. The employees are the best. You won’t regret staying at the RS New Oreleans.

It was just okay and pricey
Some staff were very friendly. Mr. Wade was awesome. Don't book a room on Bourbon Street if you want to sleep before 4 am. The room was nice it was just a bit pricey for what it was. Other hotels nearby had similar rates and were nicer. Probably won't book here again.

We were there 4 nights. Room cleaning erratic. Had towels with stains 2 nights. Poor quality towels. Stains on the walls from water leaks. Did not refill coffee or cups one night. Location on Bourbon Street is convenient but definitely not worth the price.

All of the staff was super friendly. Door man, front desk and valets were highlights of the stay. Had the Bourbon balcony and although I didn’t stay out super late the outside noise didn’t make it impossible to fall asleep. Parking is easy to find, just put the hotel address in google maps and stay on Conti until you pass the hotel then look to your right. Christmas decorations were amazing, lots of photo opportunities. Everyone greeted my dog and there’s some natural green space for dogs about a 10 minute walk away.

Location! Customer service!
Wonderful costumer service! All employees were so friendly! Alberto at Desire Oyster bar was the best! Housekeeping service the room even though we left our room rather late each day. Doormen were delight! Only negative was all the construction on Bourbon street but that was of no fault of the hotel.

Do not stay you'll regret it
Really horrible rooms. Smelt like major mold and vents not changed. I got an asthma attack after the first day. Big Cockroaches in my first room. I was switched without help and no a same dark room on another floor even after asking for a room with more air. The rooms were also FRIGID and the blankets really thin. The thermostats don't work. Can't sleep. Paid daily resort fee and the aren't any amenities pool is frigid. Don't even know why paying. Please see my other hotel reviews, I don't ever complain but for this one I highly suggest not to stay here

Would stay again
Very clean, just no phone or microwave in the room. They did bring both after I asked just thought why wasn't it in the room to begin with. Also no clear instructions on if there was room service or what the amenities were. Great location.

Good location
I liked the location a lot and the room was very nice. Even though our room was right on Bourbon street the noise was not bad. The front desk staff seemed disinterested on check in and not welcoming. We had some issues with hot water in our room. The first two days you had to run the water for about several minutes for the shower to get hot - I didn’t say anything bc it did eventually get there. But the last day it never got hot no matter how long I let it run.
