Avoid at all cost if you don't want any stress.
First of all, the place isn't actually a hotel, but a condo. So they DONT HAVE A CHECK IN COUNTER. There is no staff or check in at the condo.
When I checked the fineprint of the confirmation email, it turns out that we have to first go to another location to check in. Said location is 10+ minutes away by car. They don't even give you a phone number. They give you a name only for the other hotel that you're supposed to go to to check in. I was lucky I had Internet on my phone to try and search for a number. But even then, in Thailand, most tourists get a WiFi only travellers SiM card so they can't actually call the place. I had to borrow the phone off some passerby to finally call the place.
And when I did call, they kept asking for some "booking number" that was seperate from the hotels.com confirmation number. They knew my name and said I was on the list, but kept trying to push me away because I didn't have the "booking number".
Finally when they did agree that I was who I was, they told me to wait "5 minutes" at the lobby. But it took the lady 1 hour to get there. So there I was, waiting for an hour outside a lobby for a "hotel" I couldn't even check into at the place.
The place itself is great. Its just an absolute nightmare to check in. And the hotels.com website doesn't have any info on the check in process until after you confirm.
