Stay away from here!
Gross overpriced hotel on side of Highway. Not close to anything in town or walkable. Rooms filled with bugs. No amenities. Dirty towels and sheets. Property very dirty with trash everywhere. Not worth the money.

Avoid like the plague, or you might catch it!
At check-in, no-one was present, there was a 'phone to call for assistance. The check-in area was confined to a tiny foyer no larger than a telephone cubicle with a window/screen with an open area at the base. The reception desk proper, was beyond locked doors & could not be accessed. We were attended & pointed in the direction of a room across the car park. The first thing we noticed was the appalling smell. Almost like something had died. Mouldy, musty & quite revolting. I spoke to the manager about it & was told it was just the air conditioning. The furnishings were filthy & there was what appeared to be dried blood spatter on some of the walls. The bathroom was so dirty & appalling that I actually was afraid to even go in there & certainly too afraid to bathe for fear of coming out more dirty than when I went in. I took off my shoes & walked on the floor, that was a huge mistake - my feet were black with filth. To clean them without touching the floor then (using the sink in the room, not the bathroom; was quite the feat. The bathtub was absolutely filthy, filled with hair and other detritus. We tried to find alternative accommodations but couldn't & slept fully clothed on top of the bed until it was time to leave. We went to see what breakfast was & there was some fruit - but it was mouldy, as was the bread. I brought all this to the attention of the manager who was the same person from the night before and entirely unconcerned. Not one positive

The room was dated and should probably be upgraded soon. The breakfast is something you should not look forward to.

2/10 Poor

This was the worst motel I ever stayed at. The room was dirty the mattress pad was dirty, the shower had a dirty washcloth in it with dirty soap. Then when I told the front desk man about it, he gave me spray to clean it myself,.and showed me a paper where it said that the room was cleaned. They really need to get someone to really inspect the rooms thoroughly. He told me that a new girl cleaned the room, but that did not make any difference that room was not cleaned at all.

4/10 Fair

I will start with the positive — extremely friendly staff (possibly owner). Now, the negative — dirty linens (grass and sand in sheets), mattress was so soft, I felt I was sleeping in a hammock, white chunks of drywall repair materials on floor throughout room, rusty bathrooms fixtures, tub stained with rust, AC smells of mold while running, loud with road noise, water is orange (rust), pool has no water/drained/out of service, outdated to point that whole property should be torn down.

10/10 Exceptional

Front staff was amazing. Very accommodating. The room was nice but smelled a bit musty. Could have been cleaned more as there was a bottle cap and dead fly on the floor. Perhaps invest in fly traps as the fly who decided to room with us was a nuisance and tricky enough not to get swatted. Bathroom door did not close all the way but that didn’t bother us. Water pressure was great. Property area is maintained nicely. Breakfast options were surprisingly good and in a clean and welcoming area. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There are some rusted areas but it is much improved from my last visit here around Covid time. New management and I can see the positive difference.

Worst hotel I've ever seen! room 118
On arrival nobody was in the office where there was a phone that said press 0 for assistance. 3rd try the manager came. He was pleasant and stated it was a good night because he booked the whole hotel. I was given my room key and pointed in the right direction. First thing we noticed was the ac unit heavily leaking with a puddle that the other rooms didn't have. As soon as we opened the door we were overwhelmed by the smell of mold/mildew and dead animal odor. As I looked around it got worse. Walls and headboards were stained and cove base molding was covered in mildew around the whole room. The dead animal smell was strongest near the vent on the wall. We immediately went back to the counter to express our concerns about safety for our family and the manager said there's nothing he can do. He did show me another room available which wasn't much better than the first but after seeing the first there was no way I'd trust this place with my health. He said he might be able to refund half of my money if he is able to book the room and I just had to wait and see. I drove an hour to another hotel and contacted hotels.com and had a good experience with Manuela but in the end was only able to get half my money back for a room that was not safe for any human to sleep in. Never again. I have photos to prove it but the add a photo button will not allow me to submit. How convenient.

No cleanliness, not in safe condition. Seems like no maintenance, room smells. I will never stay again in Econolondge again. I checked in late otherwise I could never stay in this hotel. Bathtub have yellow stain and rusty. No one clean. Terrible condition. Send someone to see the property. I should get a refund for this stay.

The property was dirty with overflowing garbage cans. The swimming pool was empty. The rooms had limited towels and dirty walls. Paint was chipping off everywhere. There was a spider dropping down from the ceiling and the sheets were sticky. There was an exorbitant fee for my dogs $50 each. This was not on the website and when we called to inquire about dogs, the person on the phone said it would be $25. We were very glad to leave this place.

6/10 Good

First, the good. The guy at the front desk was so polite and kind, made good conversation and drove to the front as soon as we called to check in. The wall unit had also been updated so you control it from a thermostat on the wall instead of on the unit itself like you used to. There is also a microwave and mini fridge. The breakfast is what you would expect: cereal, fruit, waffles, toast, and coffee. It's a single level hotel so you park right in front of your door (though you don't have a window to see your car). The bad: the hotel is older so there are definitely some things they could work on. There was obvious water damage on the baseboard all the way around the room. The sink was cracked and the shower had so much buildup on the walls that I had to wash my hands after touching it. I didn't shower because the shower head and fixtures in the shower were rusted, I didn't trust that the water touching me would be clean. The mirror had not been cleaned recently. The hair dryer was just barely attached to the wall. I picked up the mini shampoo and there was someone else's hair under it. There were popcorn kernels on the pull-out couch. There were at least 20 dead bumblebees between the two panes of glass looking outside and an active bald-faced hornets nest right outside our door, though they left us alone. The pool was closed and drained. The tv, though it was a big screen, had a blurry picture and the TV channel guide did not match the actual channels.
