It was a comfortable and clean room and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was an odor of smoke and marijuana in the hallways that would permeate our room. It wasn’t enough to have to leave but it was each day we were there.

The people were great, the room seemed run down even tho it was"recently" updated. the mattress felt like i was sleeping on the ground it was so hard and the pillows were so soft i used 3 and still had no cushioning.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was very convenient. It had plenty of handicap parking, which was a must for me. People were very friendly, especially the bartender. She was real nice. I enjoyed my stay to where I stayed the extra day because I really enjoyed being there and everybody spoke, I recommend this place for anybody when I come back to New Jersey. I will be staying at Howard Johnson again.
