Give it a go!
Amazing stay. The amenities were all on the lobby floor from pjs, pillows, to soaps and toothbrushes and even face masks! Instead of a key card, it is a number pass code. The room is spacious with a big bed. There is even a booth table with plenty of leg room. The women's onsen is also number key coded. Overall it was very clean, the staff super friendly, and I was well rested. I would love to stay here again!

It was an overall a good stay for us. I love the breakfast buffet food selection, it all tastes good. The room is clean and I also like the fact that they have pillow selections where you can choose from, near the front desk. I will stay here again if I visit Yamagata in the future.

Pros: The location is very convenient as it is close to Sakurambohigashine station, friendly staff, breakfast buffet, and onsen.
Cons: The room and bathrooms are tiny, but it is a typical Japanese hotel size. They only provide one thin bath towel and one small, thin hand towel. It’d be nice to have two sets of towels provided without having to ask. Onsen has limited hours. I think it’d be used more if it was closed only from 10 am- 3 pm, which are the hours people are asked to exit their rooms for housekeeping.
Overall, I would stay here again. It’s nice to have two options now right by the station!
