It was clean. Front desk clerk not friendly (not a deal breaker but we’re not asking her any questions). Room was dated but clean. Bed uncomfortable and not entirely made up, Coffee maker didn’t work. Pub was very clean. Good craft beer selection and very nice bartender. The manager (I had to ask who he was while he was interrogating me) approached me at the bar to find out who I was because I had apparently been too inquisitive. That was weird. He was polite but demeanor was less than welcoming and more of a “what are you doing here”.

Check in was easy. The room was okay. There was broken window screens and bathroom counter top. The room floor was coming up and sticking. I wouldn't walk barefoot. There was also a strong smell of marijuana in and around the hotel. Definitely not choosing to stay here again

The check in was extremely slow, (we found out later) new employee. Same new employee was in charge of restocking the breakfast bar (but didn’t know?) After they clocked out the next employee had them come back and show what they missed. Frozen breakfast and out of milk. Not to mention at check out the new employee charged my card for over $500?

Remodeling had most of the building in disarray or out of service (no restaurant, no indoor pool). The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was minimal and low quality.

The outside is scary, the inside looks nicer but the lobby improvements were incomplete. Restaurant was never open. Inside and outside pools were closed and gross. Spiders in the stairwells in several places at head level. Ice machine made wet pellets. I paid over $500 for this room a rate that went down prior to my arrival. The town of Liberty is pretty uninspiring. They are close to Bethel Woods and simply price gouging for people needing a room to stay.

The property is being remodeled and should not be open. It's dirty, smells, and is like a construction site. The staff is unprofessional. The girl at the desk had a bagful of fast food spread out around her and said, "I think your room is that way." The next morning someone who appeared to be in charge of something was scolding a member of the cleaning staff for leaving the garbage in some room, saying it was smelly." The indoor pool is partially filled and clearly closed but with disgusting water. The hotel is a mess and should be closed.
