A great place to stay to spend time in Playa Larga. Super convenient location towards the "end" of town, which means it's a one minute walk to the beach and no more than 5 minutes to center of town. You're far enough away from the noise and bustle of the beach bars and can enjoy the quiet and tranquility. The rooms are super clean and comfortable with working AC, mini fridge, nice shower and bathroom in every one. The breakfast for $5CUC is delicious and a very generous portion. We had dinner there one evening and it was absolutely delicious (made us wish we had eaten there every night!), and the drinks at the bar (whether coffee or rum drinks) are also delicious.
Most notable is that the proprietors and staff are super friendly, generous, and cater to your every need. Whether you need a beach towel, want to figure out how to go snorkeling, get a private car to somewhere, or whatever else you need, they are there to help you, and do so with a generous spirit and smile. We would totally go back and stay at Don Pepe!
